Are You Organized Enough as a Blogger to be Successful?

Lately, a lot of ideas started to cross my mind. While I am learning new stuff, I have to think of ways to implement them on my blog. I have not been blogging for a lot of time, neither I am trying to make a profession from it; I am bogging because I like it and I want to learn as much as possible about it.

While I am learning new tricks like: how to increase my Google PR, build more links, create a banner and design something for my theme, I have also to test and implement them. Mostly, I am doing all by myself and often, time seems not to be enough.

Things that a blogger should organize:

Some things are more important then others and for this reason you have to give them a proper attention to have more success with your blogging. Below, I will mention some that I consider to be important in having positive results with your blog.

• Blog post ideas – sometimes, it can be quite difficult to find blog post ideas. Posting as often as possible is very important to be successful in your blogging. That’s why you have to think ahead for some blog post ideas.
• Blogs where to guest post – finding new blogs where to guest post and thinking of what article you should write can take an important part of your time. You have to be intuitive regarding how much guest posts you intend to make per month and which are the best choices. Making a plan and respecting the deadlines is very important.
• Blog Comment and link building – in order to have great SEO and promote your blog, these things need to be organized. I often try to leave 2-3 comments on a site that I find interesting, but lately, due to lack of time it has become more difficult, hence, a well sketched planning would be efficient.
• Passwords and sites where you register – if you want your blog to gain popularity, you should invest in promoting it. Sometimes, I join sites like: forums, social bookmaking, profiling sites and Guest Posting sites. Keeping track of all passwords and sites can be hard and a document should be created to ease up things for you.
• Things to do in the near future – new things to implement on your blog are always welcomed, that’s why you need to write them down and schedule them.

Tips to keep you an organized blogger:

Every blogger keeps thing organized in a different manner, below I will present you my ways:

• Google Docs – I am using Google docs for storing my passwords, article ideas and a list of blogs where to comment on. Google Docs is very good because you can access you files from everywhere, of course with an internet connection.
• Google Calendar – this is very good for splitting the tasks and organize yourself. You can schedule blog post, commenting on other blogs, publishing a guest post and much more, in hours and days.
• LastPass – This is a very good tool that can help you store your passwords.
• A piece of paper and a pen– this is very good for the times when you have a quick idea and you don’t have your PC or laptop near you. I often have ideas and I need something to write them down, a piece of paper seems to help me every time.

Conclusions

To be organized as blogger will have an important impact on the success of your blog. That is what motivates me to keep track of my activities and the means that I am using to do this.
