Before I start bitdoze.com I didn’t know allot about the internet, domain names and hosting, I was a student and I didn’t had allot of money to give. For this reason I have started to look around on internet for ways to have a free web hosting and a free domain, I wanted to learn some things about this wonderful world of internet before buying my domain.
Below I will put the best ways that I have found to do this so that you can have an staring point if you decide to do this, first I would like to mention that I didn’t want to have free web hosting from WordPress or Blogger because they you are quite limited.
Free web hosting:
After looking on the internet for some tine I was able to find a bunch of site that are offering free web hosting, but not all of them had enough data space, data transfer, databases …… and the list could continue.
I was amazed when finally I found what I am looking for, 000webhost it is offering the best free service that I have ever seen and they have some extraordinary packages:
- 1500 Mb of space
- 100GB/month data transfer
- 2 MySql databases
- Email account
- FTP account…
Of coarse the are not offering as much as a paid one but they are relay good. They have a very nice Control Panel with allot of future here is a scream shot to have a more clear picture.
000webhost feft a very good impression to me the up-time is very good is more good then the one that I have now 
.
Free domain name:
Finding a free domain name it wasn’t that difficult because a lot of publicity is done on the internet. My chaise for a free domain name was co.cc, here you can register and sustain 5 domain names on an account. Not all the domain names are free but if you don’t want a well known word for your domain name is ok.
The registration is very easy and the configuration of the domain the same you only have to enter the Name Server of your hosting company and the DNS propagation will happen in 1 day.
You have to be careful because I think you don’t have a real ownership for this domain, so if you want to promote your domain it will be better to buy a real one.
Build a free blog or free forum:
After you finish the steps you can install a FTP client and transfer the CMS that you want to use for your site. You have to be careful because not all the CMS will work because the free web hosting do not offer support for everything but in my case I have installed Worldpress and it worked very good, here is the test domain that I have build.

If many free webhosts don’t offer all the features you want, then why not get paid hosting? It is so much easier in the long run. Yeah, you may have to pay $60, but then you don’t have to spend anything more for the rest of the year. If you buy a domain name at GoDaddy, you can use coupon codes so in the end, you’re only spending maybe $70 and you have a professional looking website.
If money is why you’re holding back, then you aren’t going to get far.
You are perfectly wright, but I have write this article for that ones that do not want to pay money, of course that paid hosting and a good domain name is excellent, anyway thanks for your opinion I think that this will help many to decide if they want a paid or free service.
paid webhost are much better than free webhosts.there are a lot of problems with the free webhosts.

I would just suggest to choose a free web hosting as a trial and not suggest for a permanent bases. It can save you money but it cannot provide you the desirable results which you would be looking for a web hosting company. So i would suggest everyone to get a reliable paid web hosting services.

My advise is that, if you plan to create a good site, don’t use a free domain.. the domain names are not expensive.

That’s a very informative post.But there is a problem with co.cc is that you don’t get a meaningful domain name.Besides I have come to know that if your domain name gains popularity and you start getting traffic then it cannot handle large traffic.I don’t know whether its true or not.I am not sure of it as I have not used it.But I have used 000webhost before and they really provide good service.
