The latest stuff that I have observed in the blogging world is the growth of the email list. Most of the sites that I was visiting in the latest days had a pop up that wanted to subscribe to their things. I don’t say that this is a bad thing but some time can be quite annoying. Every time I visit a site some annoying pop up is “pooping up” to subscribe to some crazy stuffs. Like for example some of them are offering a some sort of guide to do stuffs like blogging, SEO and other things like this. If you will gain a reader that has no interest for your blog what will be the point. When a email will be sent, they will just ignore it.Growing the email list is very important don’t get me wrong, but mostly what meters most is the person itself not some number.
Why to grow the email list:
1. Growing the email list it will make things lot easier
Lets say for example that you need to promote some stuff or just to inform others about something, it will not just be easy to send a email to all of them?
An email can inform a lot of people about a lot of things and also can bring you money doing this. Gaining a lot of money it is the second things that I am thinking on when to grow your email list.
2. Growing the email list it will bring you money
Of course that for someones growing the email list is equal with money, as big is the email list the ,ore money can be made. Some of the bloggers even sell the email list to gain same money. I don’t rally know how much money can be made by selling a email list but I think that the other benefits that the email list it is bring can be much more.
3. Growing the email list it will bring you respect
For some of the bloggers a big list will bring a motive of pride in the face of others. I don’t really know how this will do any good. Because the subscribers can be bought as well, but for the ones that tried to grow the email list as natural as possible it will bring a lot of respect and rewords as well.
Growing the email list conclusions
For sure trying to grow a email list it will not harm you in any way, if you do it in the wright way. Growing it is not very costly and for sure it can be very pleasant and easy to do if you are natural an not to pushy. This is my opinion about of how to grow your email list, what about you?

What I wonder is how to encourage people to sign up for email when we are also asking them to join our FB fan page and connect thru NetworkBlogs and Gmail Connect and Twitter and …? I’m getting a number of followers thru BlogFrog, too. Should there be some sort of prioritization? My FB fan page is much larger than any of the others, so should I just be promoting that near the top and downplay the others? Is it worth an incentive to acquire an email address, say, a one-time discount on my artwork?
