Best Steps to Write a Search Engine Optimized Content:

1. Title Optimization

Title is the first important step that you have to carefully choose when you want to write search engine optimized content. Search engines will look first at the title for the keywords you want to choose. Just try to choose a title that includes your keywords. Try to integrate the keywords in a title in a pleasant way not to annoy the readers. Also, try to target the keywords that have less concurrence because you will reach faster on the first page of Google. On the internet you find some tools  that would help you choose the right keywords: AdWords and if you have a WordPress blog KeywordWinner can help choose the best keywords, you can find a review of the plugin here:  Keyword Winner Review – Choose the right keywords.

2. Meta Description

The Meta Description is very important for a better Search Engine Optimized Content: try to write a description of maximum 150 character because this is the maximum limit that Search Engines will pick. Insert the keywords from the title here and it will be perfect.

3 . Keywords in H1, H2 and H3 Tags

4. Content Images

Insert an image having in “alt attribute” the keyword. I usually insert at least 1 or 2 images in every article that I write with the keywords. Every little thing matters in gaining the first place in Google.

5. Keyword density

Keyword density plays an important role in search engine optimization content. Usually the keyword density should be between 3% and 6%. Just try to insert the keywords in the content as natural as you can.

6. Font decorations

Put the chosen keyword in bold and italic: it will increase your chances in the optimization.

7. Article Links

The number of the outbound link from the article needs to be controlled, the few dofollow link you have the better.  Also try to insert a link with the keyword to another article.

8.  The first and last sentence:

Inserting  the keyword in the first and last sentence will help you gain the fist place. For WordPress users, a plugin is already developed.  It can help you with the optimization. It is called SEOPressor and you can find a review here: SEOPressor review.

  1. Excellent blog you have here and my first visit. I had just wrote you a comment but it disappeared on me when I hit submit, it was a very long comment so you should feel lucky that it did disappear. lol I’ve read some of your posts and found lots of great info. for all bloggers new and old ones. This post had several tips that I felt pertained to me, it has always eluded me to insert a picture on my posts, I think of it after or sometimes I just can’t find the one I want. So I will try to change my habit. The” Font tip” has been a thorn in my side for awhile, I can’t change the size of my font in the post unless I use a code. My webmaster did show me how to the font larger with a small snippet of code, but I did it and my whole post turned into all large letters that were unable to even read. I think WordPress should add a font drop down , not everyone knows code. Thanks again for a post that had lots of info. jj

  2. Great tips on search engine optimized content. I use most of these strategies when constructing my content, especially H1 tags. However, I didn’t realize that making your chosen keyword bold or italic will have a positive affect on optimizing your content. Thanks and I will keep that in mind from now on. The SEOPressor looks like a great tool and I will probably give that a try as well.

Google, that is the most used search engine in Europe (think Yahoo still is greatest in US), doesn’t really care about the Meta Description for SEO purposes. Instead of just repeating your keywords, which doesn’t give you any advantages in Google, my tip is instead to use it as a teaser for the users reading it. For example, it can be a really good spot to display campaigns and offers.

  4. Good thing you have these tips. This is a great help to those who are in the field of SEO. I write an article I used to have 25% density of the keyword to avoid redundancy, and I’m also used to italicize the keyword of the site. I know that optimizing of the site is not easy that’s why we need also to read and study more techniques how to rank our site. In addition through your post I already know that italicize keyword can contribute in optimizing the site. Thanks for this post. Hoping to read more SEO articles form you.

  6. First and last sentence is something new.

What is describes in this article is only a half of your optimization work. Another half is link building. Try to get as many backlinks as possible. Dofollow links being more valuable, don’t forget about nofollow ones though. All SEs but Google see them equally valuable. Building link wheels (see this blog’s featured articles) is an effective way to reinforce all your off-site pages at once.

  10. Some of the tips you outlay here are great. my advice regarding number 5, keyword density would be not to worry about it all. Just write naturally, and desired keywords and/or synonyms will occur in the text few times and that’s enough.
