Black Friday 2026 lands on **November 27**, with Cyber Monday on **November 30**. Before that, Amazon's **Prime Big Deal Days on October 6–7** usually previews the same pricing on storage, networking, and PC hardware — last year it produced some of the best mini PC prices of the year.

This page tracks the homelab gear I've reviewed or recommended across the site: mini PCs, NAS enclosures, Thunderbolt 5 docks, and UPS units. The **verified price** column is what each item actually sold for on Amazon on September 21, 2026 — not the inflated "list price" Amazon shows next to the discount badge. The **target** column is the price where I'd buy. I'll refresh this through Cyber Monday as real deals go live.

## How to spot a real deal

Two tricks sellers run every November:

- **Inflated list prices.** The Anker Prime TB5 dock shows a $445.98 "list price" and a -22% badge — but its real street price has been ~$350–400 all year. The discount is smaller than it looks.
- **Merged listings.** Budget mini PCs (especially GMKtec) share one Amazon page across a dozen CPU variants. Always confirm the selected configuration in the dropdown before checkout — the price you see may belong to a different model.

When in doubt, paste the product URL into a price-history tracker (camelcamelcamel, Keepa) and compare against the baseline in the tables below.

## What to expect (and when to buy)

- **Oct 6–7 (Prime Big Deal Days):** Amazon usually discounts its own bestsellers early. Last year the Mac mini hit $469 and NAS boxes saw their first real cuts. If a product in the tables hits its target in October, buy it — it rarely goes lower in November.
- **Nov 27–30 (BF/CM):** The deepest cuts land on Amazon-choice SKUs and last-gen models. Premium docks (CalDigit) typically see $30–50 off, not 40%.
- **Watch stock, not just price.** The DXP4800 Plus was down to one unit at last check. NAS and mini PC inventory thins out fast in deal weeks — a good price with no stock is a worse outcome than a decent price today.
